O/M/NEWS//APRIL

Hello Everyone

We hope you’ve all had a nice easter, we’ve been busy; drinking coffee, eating hot cross buns and alternately working hard and procrastinating. We’re almost ready to announce our summer projects, don’t worry, we’re getting there. We’ve been busy in meetings, fervently emailing, writing and re-writing press releases, we should have some stuff to tell you by the end of the month. The photos are up from the Off Modern #5, and we’ve finally got through the backlog from all the previous events, so we’ll be cracking on with getting new stuff up soon. If you haven’t already, check out the lovely Among The Bones mp3s and the read the pieces on Historic Discourse and on Dubai & Supermodernity. Thanks also to Holy Ghost Zine for allowing us to host one of only three interviews The Temporary School of Thought gave. Unfortunately we’re a bit behind on the magazine, but you can expect it to be out soon! Promise.

The second No Pain In Pop compilation is out now, we dj’ed at the launch party and it was a lot of fun, the tracklisting is pretty excellent; Pens, Sunni-Geini, Telepathe and Gentle Friendly, who played our first show way back in November.

Also we have the line-up confirmed for Off Modern #6 on the 30th of April. Gyratory System, Friendship and Radiant Dragon are all playing live. Bradley Zero, Quintessential and Ronojoy Dam (Real Gold) are all doing dj sets along with our residents Tomfoolery and Nasty McQuaid. It should be pretty amazing.

Here’s the video for the new single from Friendship, The Graveyard Shift.

And this is Gyratory System’s Barons Court Turret, which came out in February on ARC.

Hopefully we’ll see you all at Corsica on the 30th!
